How to Set Up Your EPSS Profile

Keep your db.epss.ucla.edu profile and public directory information accurate — contact info, photo, links, and bio.

Sign in with your UCLA Active Directory account (same credentials as other EPSS apps).

Open db.epss.ucla.edu →

1

  1. Go to db.epss.ucla.edu.
  2. Sign in with your UCLA Active Directory username and password.
2

Open your profile

  1. Click your name (top right) → Profile, or open My Profile in the sidebar.
  2. Review the fields synced from Active Directory (name, title, email, and related info).
3

Update contact info

  1. On Profile, choose Edit Contact Info.
  2. Update phone, mobile, and office as needed.
  3. Save. Phone, mobile, and office save immediately.
4

Request other changes

For display name, email, title, or department:

  1. Profile → Request Change
  2. Submit the request and wait for admin approval (status appears on the same page).
5

Change your password

  1. Profile → Change Password
  2. Enter your current password, then the new password twice.
  3. Save.

Tip: If you cannot sign in at all, see How to update your EPSS account or email help@epss.ucla.edu.

Public directory card (photo, links, bio)

If your directory listing is already published:

  1. On Profile, find the Public directory profile card.
  2. Drop or upload a photo (JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP · max 10MB; HEIC is not accepted).
  3. Add education, awards, websites, and public links as offered.
  4. Use Save + update live page so the public site updates. Save alone stays in the database only.

Website sync needed means the public page is behind the database.

You cannot turn directory publish on/off yourself or change which section you appear in — ask an ADUM admin. If you are not published yet, you can still fill in the fields; an admin must publish you before a live page exists.

Tips

  • Keep office and phone current for students and colleagues.
  • After photo updates, use Save + update live page, then allow a short time for the public site to refresh.
  • If you cannot sign in, contact EPSS IT (help@epss.ucla.edu) or your ADUM admin.
